Bio
I am an interdisciplinary studies student at Florida International University concentrating in psychology and social work. My work focuses on mental health advocacy, crisis intervention, and community education. Through volunteer service, specialized training, and lived experience, I strive to support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges while promoting compassionate and equitable access to care.
I approach this work with a commitment to empathy, advocacy, and culturally competent support. I hold nationally recognized certifications in Mental Health First Aid, QPR Suicide Prevention, and Trauma-Informed Care, which provide training in recognizing risk, responding to crisis situations, and delivering trauma-informed, client-centered support.
